Sunset Cliffs || San Diego Elopement Photo Session

Eric & Felisha

This Sunset Cliffs elopement was everything a wedding, especially as San Diego wedding, should be. All of the promises and sweetness and laughter and none of the hassle, stress, or chaos that you might associate with a bigger wedding.

We gathered at Sunset Cliffs, surrounded by a group of perhaps twenty family members and friends and Eric and Felicia said their vows to one another in front of the pastor and their two dearest friends. The ceremony was sweet, with a simple reading by the bride’s younger sister and heartfelt words spoken by the bride and groom. The emphasis was definitely on the “forever” part rather than the details of the day- exactly as it should be.

From a professional standpoint, being one of only two vendors for the elopement, myself and the officiate, is hard for business – there’s no glorious flowers to take photos of, or DJ to tag on Instagram, or caterer to boast about on Facebook, but aside from all that I truly think that elopements might be my favorite, cut out all the details and get to the heart of the matter- you and me for keeps.

And then the photos, laughing smiles, a white dress, and a crashing moody sea in the background- perfection.

That’s What She Said

“They are wonderful!!! I love them so much- they look amazing”
